Who and what?
My name is Erik and I am a passionate portrait photographer. Or actually “personality photographer”, because capturing your personality is my goal! I live in a small village in West-Brabant, am married and father of two teenagers.

I started portrait photography in September 2021 and have since had the pleasure of working with over 100 beautiful people!

Professional training
In addition to a number of more portrait photography-oriented courses and workshops, I successfully completed a professional photography training last year. So I can call myself a “certified photographer”. Although there is only one way to learn this profession and that is by shooting a lot!

Method
I would like to describe my method as accessible, safe, personal, fun and relaxed. Always looking for the connection with my model and that one cool look! I work more on feeling than on technique and therefore prefer to occupy myself with my model instead of with all kinds of camera settings. A photo shoot should above all be a lot of fun!

Contact and preparation
I always prepare shoots very thoroughly and enthusiastically together with my model, whereby many examples or moodboards are exchanged. I find a good click really important! In doing so, I like to be as clear as possible, so that the shoot becomes a super cool experience. Trust, comfort and safety are paramount here.

TFP only
I work only TFP by choice, so I do not ask for a fee. But I will not pay this to a model either! I believe that someone should want to shoot with me because of my photos and/or my way of working, not because of financial compensation. TFP also means, that I can share my work on my Instagram and VERO accounts, among others.

Work area
My work area is mainly West and Central Brabant, South Holland and Zeeland. Roughly 100 km around Dordrecht. Exceptions are possible! I usually shoot outside, but a cool indoor location is of course also possible. Unfortunately I do not have a studio.
